What is the benefit of an in home newborn session?

I offer a different take on at home newborn sessions. I come to you with a portable studio that I set up in your  living room. By using a studio set up, you do not need to do anything extra to get ready for me. We can move the laundry baskets out of the way, no big deal!  Let’s remember, you are recovering. With a small studio, the focus is on your beautiful baby; not your house or decor.

You have everything you need at home

When packing up for an outing with my little ones, I either found I had way too much or not enough. I often found I didn't have what I needed but had too much of other stuff. Having your newborn session in your home alleviates that problem. No need to pack a bag and guess how many diapers, bottles, or changes of clothes you might need. Just another perk of being in the comfort of your own home.

But what if my house is a mess?

No worries! Like I mentioned, I bring a small set up to take your baby's portraits, so your house won't be seen. Don’t worry about cleaning. Focus on your baby and your own recovery.  

The weather outside is definitely frightful

That's why in-home newborn sessions are so very delightful! Yes, even in June… with cold temps, rain, and wind, taking your new baby out is probably one of the last things you want to do. That is one reason why I come to you. You don't have to worry about taking your bundle of joy out and about in this weather. You have got to love Seattle summers… 

So, the comfort of your home, with everything you need, and no one sees if it's not your usual tidy… Sounds awesome! Well, because it is! So make a cup of tea and have a needed break while you watch your newborn during their session. These memories are so important and they change at this age so quickly. So let's capture them. But let's do so while making it easier on you and your new baby. Because, I feel, that is really important too.
