Is two weeks too old for a newborn session?

Quick answer: no. Any time is the right time to take portraits of your baby. 

Earlier is better

Babies change so quickly. With newborn sessions we are trying to capture your brand new baby and all their little details before they change.

Baby acne usually starts around two weeks of age

Another reason we try to stay in the one to ten day age range is because baby acne usually starts appearing around two weeks of age. Already your baby is changing from the newborn into a baby. 

Even still, 2 weeks is not too old.

Plan ahead and plan for earlier but if circumstances prevent you from staying in the ten day window, it is better to have the portraits later than not have them at all. 

It is always better to have the portraits than to not. 

That goes for our entire lives! It's always better to have the portraits! No one has ever said I have more than enough pictures. Usually the opposite is true… I wish I had more pictures. These memories are for you for now but are for your children later.
